doors in the bathroom

The top two pictures (with Benjamin) are of all of us in our bathroom closet. Benjamin decided we all needed to squeeze inside. He thought it was hilarious to be inside because it was dark, but with my flash I was able to take a good picture. =)

Third picture is of our shower curtain, we pulled the colors for the paint from the curtain. The Color Center people were really helpful in finding the exact match...thanks Paula!

The fourth picture is of the bathroom door (straight ahead) and our bedroom door (to the right).

The last picture is from the inside of the bathroom looking at the closet door (right) and the the entrance (left).

interior doors

Here are pictures of the interior doors that Phil put in. Most of the doors are in, just a couple of closet doors and the laundry door left. The laundry door matches the pantry door and still needs to be stained. It looks really nice to see doors in the place.

We just have a couple more things (big things though) to get done before we can move in. Phil and PJ have been working on the stair railings and then the carpet goes in. The carpet people won't be able to come in until the beginning of August, so we'll wait until they are done. Projected move in date: August 5th/6th....just in time for our 5th Anniversary on the 7th! Traditional 5th Anniversary gift: WOOD! (we got it!)

kitchen almost done!?

Here are the appliances in the kitchen. All of them are functional!!!! Ready to go....the only thing left in the kitchen is the base boards around the bottom cabinents and the crown molding around the top cabinents.

Pictures of the kitchen....and our first interior door in!

Pictures from the kitchen...the laminate flooring is all in. The Pantry door is now in place with trim and looks gorgeous! PJ and Phil put in the chest freezer, but we've decided to move it to the end of the pantry to allow space for shelving. PJ and Phil also moved the washer and dryer and laundry sink into the laundry room. Can't wait to use them!

bathroom almost finished!

Phil and PJ finished putting in the bathroom sinks and hooking them and the toilet up. The sinks and the toilet are now working! The tub is not quite finished being hooked up, but coming along nicely. The vanity lights are in and working.

July 2nd, 2009...putting in the bathroom vanity and countertop

Pictures from this morning...PJ and Phil worked on getting the bathroom cabinent/vanity in and then put the countertop on. This afternoon they will be working on putting in the bathroom sinks...more pictures to come!

Kitchen sink goes in!

Today Phil and PJ worked at putting in the kitchen sink. The countertop was cut and then the sink was placed. The countertop was also glued down, so it's now secure!

July 1st ~ Pictures of the deck

Above are pictures of the deck. It's nice to have it done. I've even relocated a rectagular box of pea plants that usually get snipped from the rabbits because our porch at the other house is so low.....too high for the rabbits to reach now...and we have peas!
